Not only did the 2006 Murdock Riesling win the Trophy for the Best Aromatic White Wine in the Limestone Coast Wine Show, the 2000 Murdock 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon also won the Trophy for the Best Museum Red. An outstanding result considering the exceptional wines produced from Coonawarra and the Limestone Coast.

The 2000 Murdock Cabernet Sauvignon not only made James Halliday's Top 100, but also received an astonishing 97 points. Ranked equally to Penfolds Grange and Wolf Blass Platinum Barossa Shiraz, it is a testament to our commitment to quality.

The wines selected include the 1999, 2000 & 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2004 Merlot and 2004 The Merger. An excellent result for Murdock.

In addition, apart from the finesse of his tannin management, Bissell's contract wines bear only a regional resemblance to one another.”
